SG restaurant review app Drigmo shuts down

Drigmo, a Singapore-based restaurant review app, has officially shut down after struggling with user retention.

The company initially aimed to build a trusted platform for restaurant recommendations but failed to keep users engaged long-term.

Though the app included tools to organize and share dining lists, the team faced a “frequency problem,” as users stopped returning after initial use.

In late 2023, Drigmo added social features, but the changes did not improve engagement and marked the company’s final attempt at revival.

Founded by ex-Google engineers Pieter‑Paul Walraven, Meiwin Fu, and Zihui Chen, Drigmo raised US$1.2 million in early 2024 from Forge Ventures, DST Global, Alto Partners, Sequoia Scout, and Honey Mittal before shutting down.
