UnaBiz, a Singapore-based provider of IoT solutions, has announced a strategic development involving Frank Phuan, co-founder of Sunseap Group.

Phuan has invested in UnaBiz’s ongoing pre-series C funding round and will join its board of directors.

The initial part of UnaBiz’s pre-series C round took place in August with support from Japanese entities KDDI Global Innovation Fund 3 and Kyocera Communications System Co., Ltd.

UnaBiz now powers over 14 million devices globally via its Sigfox 0G technology.
