Sedifly, a Singapore-based edtech startup, has closed a pre-seed funding round that was three times oversubscribed, raising a six-figure sum from angel investors.

Sedifly plans to use the new capital to expand its product features and enter new markets.

The company also secured an equity-free grant from Enterprise Singapore, supported by the Pollinate incubator.

Sedifly helps students globally prepare for university admissions in the US and UK, offering academic and mentorship programs.

Daniel Ding, who has experience in real estate investments, and Jessie Lim, a regional CFO at a European-listed firm, will join Sedifly’s board as directors.

The company says it onboarded its first student cohort this year, and claims profitability within its first month of operations.
