SG edtech startup Fermi.ai unveils STEM learning platform

Singapore-based Fermi.ai, an AI-driven edtech startup with operations in the US and India, has launched a platform aimed at high-school STEM education.

Led by Peeyush Ranjan, former Google and Airbnb executive, the platform focuses on personalized learning in math, physics, and chemistry.

Unlike typical AI tools that prioritize speed, Fermi.ai emphasizes understanding and reasoning through features like adaptive tutoring, stylus-first input, and diagnostic insights.

The platform aims to foster deeper learning by guiding students step-by-step and providing educators with detailed analytics on student progress.

Before its public release, a three-month pilot with 79 students showed improvements in mastery scores, especially among students who engaged extensively with the platform.

Fermi.ai is available free on the cloud and plans to expand to additional subjects and regions.
