Rivo AI, a Singapore-based technology company, launched a WhatsApp service that it said answers property enquiries, qualifies leads, and books viewings when property agents are unavailable.

Its non-random test of 394 Singapore property agents, conducted on 16–19 October 2026, found that personal replies took an average of two hours and 14 minutes.

Some 29% took more than an hour, while 19% took more than four hours. About one in five daytime property enquiries went unanswered, based on average no-response rates for Singapore and overseas numbers.

The study is not representative of the entire industry.

Rivo said a Lentor Gardens pilot handled more than 200 buyer conversations and booked four viewings without human involvement.

Lentor Gardens Residences, a new condo development with 499 units, has also been the subject of public reporting.

Meanwhile, Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) has issued guidance on the use of personal data in generative AI, as property companies explore AI chatbots for buyer enquiries.
