SG agri firm sells 44.6% stake to Saudi investor for $1.8b
Singapore-based Olam Group will sell a 44.6% stake in Olam Agri to Saudi Agricultural & Livestock Investment Co (SALIC) for US$1.78 billion.
This deal will increase SALIC’s ownership to 80.01%.
The deal was announced in a Singapore’s stock exchange filing.
SALIC has up to three years to acquire the remaining 19.99% stake.
This transaction values Olam Agri at about US$4 billion and was first reported as nearing completion in November 2024.
