Indian semiconductor firm Mindgrove secures $8m series A
Bengaluru-based semiconductor design startup Mindgrove Technologies has raised US$8 million in its series A funding round.
The round was co-led by Rocketship.vc and Speciale Invest, with participation from Mela Ventures, Peak XV Partners, Nishchay Goel, Whiteboard Capital, and Anshul Goel.
The company, specializes in microcontroller chips for smart devices, plans to use the funds to expand its team, improve engineering, and advance production and sales of its first chip.
Mindgrove also received 15 crore rupees (US$1.8 million) under the Indian government’s Design Linked Incentive (DLI) scheme to support the development of its “Vision SoC” chip.
