Sea’s Q2 revenue jumps 48%, net income up 11%
Sea Limited, the parent company of ecommerce platform Shopee, said revenue for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 rose 48.1% year-on-year to US$7.8 billion, while net income rose 10.6% to US$458.1 million.
Such increases were driven by growth at Shopee, digital financial services arm Monee, and gaming unit Garena.
Shopee posted US$5.6 billion in revenue, up 48.2%. Gross merchandise value (GMV) rose 28.4% to US$38.3 billion, while gross orders increased 27.5% to 4.2 billion.
Momentum Works said Shopee still leads Southeast Asia’s ecommerce market, ahead of TikTok Shop and Lazada.
Monee reported US$1.4 billion in revenue, up 58.9%. Outstanding principal for consumer and small and medium-sized enterprise loans reached US$11.1 billion.
Monee’s non-performing loan ratio for loans overdue by more than 90 days was 1.0%, which Sea said was stable quarter-on-quarter.
Garena reported US$746.6 million in revenue, up 33.5%, while bookings rose 15.5% to US$763.5 million.
Sea repurchased 4.7 million shares for US$416.8 million during the quarter under its US$1 billion buyback program.
