Sea sets up $36.6m AI hubs at NUS

The National University of Singapore (NUS) officially opened two new buildings, Sea Building and Sea Connect, on Jan. 21.

These facilities were developed following a S$50 million (around US$36.6 million) donation from Sea Limited in 2021.

This marks the largest corporate gift received by the NUS School of Computing.

The inauguration ceremony took place at the Multi-Purpose Hall of Sea Building, with Singapore’s education minister Chan Chun Sing as the guest of honor.

The buildings aim to support research, technology education, and collaboration in AI and computing.
