Sea, a Singapore-based consumer internet group, said on September 23 it will become the first company in Southeast Asia to adopt Nvidia’s Vera Rubin platform to boost its AI infrastructure and increase computing capacity for Garena, Shopee, and Monee.

Sea said teams at Garena created more than 1,300 AI chatbots, workflows, and agents.

The company also added that Shopee’s AI-generated content tools supported a 14% year-on-year improvement in purchase conversion rate in the first quarter.

At Monee – Sea’s digital finance business rebranded from SeaMoney – the company said recent updates to credit-risk models lifted approval rates by around 10% while maintaining a similar level of risk.
