IMotorbike, Southeast Asia’s ecommerce platform for buying and selling pre-owned motorcycles, has raised US$10 million in its Series A funding round.

The funding, completed in two phases, was led by Headline Asia with contributions from several investors, including Ondine, 500 Global, Gobi Partners, Astor Management, and Endeavor Catalyst.

The company plans to expand its operations in Malaysia and Vietnam, while it also intends to establish a presence in Taiwan and increase its workforce.

It aims to open new inspection centers and showrooms in major Malaysian regions, such as Penang and Johor, while hiring additional mechanics and operations staff.

The company was co-founded in 2016 by Gil Carmo and Sharmeen Looi.
