Schneider Electric Q1 sales lifted by AI data centers

Schneider Electric reported first-quarter revenue of 9.8 billion euros (US$11.4 billion) on April 30.

The French power and cooling equipment supplier said AI data center demand helped lift organic growth by 11.2%.

The result was slightly above the 9.8 billion euros (US$11.4 billion) consensus estimate and followed stronger demand for server racks and cooling systems used by large cloud providers.

Schneider kept its full year targets and cut its forecast for the 2026 foreign exchange hit on revenue from 750 million euros (US$877 million) to 850 million euros (US$994 million).

  • With support from Motivair by Schneider Electric, a Schneider business focused on liquid cooling systems, Schneider Electric offers power and cooling reference designs co-developed with NVIDIA 5.
  • Power demand is also straining public infrastructure. A single hyperscale campus, a very large data center site run by major cloud or internet companies, can draw as much as 11 gigawatts, or more than 10% of the Texas grid’s record peak demand of 85.5 gigawatts 6.
