Singapore-headquartered payments company dtcpay said on September 18 that Japan’s SBI Group joined its series A round, bringing the round to US$25 million.

Dtcpay said it will use the funding for product development, merchant network growth, and expansion into regulated markets.

Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India led the initial tranche in April 2026.

Other investors in the round were Singapore-based fund manager Genedant Capital and existing investor Kwee Liong Tek.

SBI invested through subsidiary SBI Ventures Asset Pte Ltd and the SBI-NTU-Kyobo Digital Innovation Fund.

Dtcpay provides infrastructure for businesses and individuals to accept, store, and transact in stablecoins.
