Saudi wealth fund opens Shanghai office
Saudi sovereign wealth fund, Public Investment Fund, has opened an office in Shanghai to support outbound deals in China and attract more Chinese investment into the kingdom.
The branch began operating earlier in 2026 under PIF’s Beijing office, and the entity was registered in 2025.
The move adds to PIF’s presence in China as the fund seeks closer ties with the world’s second-largest economy amid shifting geopolitical conditions.
