Saudi firm considers TikTok bid if Musk joins

Saudi Arabia’s Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), led by Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, has expressed interest in investing in TikTok, owned by ByteDance.

This interest is contingent on whether Elon Musk or others pursue a bid for the app.

This announcement follows ongoing efforts in the United States to find a buyer for TikTok.

A previous ban was postponed by an executive order issued during Donald Trump’s presidency.

Musk, who owns the social media platform X and AI startup xAI—both of which KHC has stakes in—has been identified as a possible buyer.
