Saudi AI infrastructure firm OmniOps secures $8m

OmniOps, a Saudi Arabia-based AI infrastructure provider, raised 30 million Saudi riyals (around US$8 million) in a GMS Capital Ventures-led round to expand operations as well as improve R&D and AI infrastructure in the country.

Founded in 2024 by Mohammed Altassan, OmniOps specializes in energy-efficient, cloud-native high-performance computing clusters customized for clients.

The company is developing a sovereign AI inference cluster to improve AI deployment and efficiency.
