Saudi AI firm Humain in billion-dollar talks with US PE giants
Humain, a Saudi AI company owned by the Public Investment Fund, is in early talks with Blackstone and BlackRock about a potential multibillion-dollar investment in data centers and related infrastructure.
No agreements have been reached.
Humain launched in May and has begun building its first data centers in Saudi Arabia, aiming to have them operational by early 2026.
The company plans to build 1.9 gigawatts of capacity by 2030 and is sourcing semiconductors from US firms, including Nvidia.
It has partnerships with Qualcomm and Cisco and is in talks with Elon Musk’s xAI about a possible data center deal.
