Saudi AI construction startup BRKZ secures $31m
Riyadh-based BRKZ, a building materials procurement platform that uses AI, said it had secured US$31 million to expand across Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council, and add more AI tools and financing for contractors and suppliers.
Wa’ed Ventures, Aramco’s venture capital arm, and 500 Global co-led the US$13 million series B round.
Existing financing partner Stride Ventures also committed US$18 million in growth debt under BRKZ’s previously announced US$30 million venture debt facility.
BRKZ said it had sold more than US$133 million in materials and processed over US$1.37 billion in requests for quotations through its platform.
The company added that it had raised more than US$70 million in total equity and debt since it was founded.
BRKZ also said it received a strategic investment earlier in 2026 from SIC, which the announcement described as the investment arm of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund.
The expansion comes as Saudi Arabia has one of the world’s largest pipelines under Vision 2030, driving demand for building materials.
That backdrop also includes financing pressure on construction small and medium-sized enterprises, which often wait 90–180 days for payment after funding materials upfront.
