SAP appointed Ellian Teo as country managing director for Malaysia on August 4.

The German enterprise software company said Teo will lead strategy, operations, and customer success at SAP Malaysia.

She will report to Liher Urbizu, president and managing director of SAP Southeast Asia, and succeeds Vipin Chandran, who relocated to Singapore with SAP.

SAP said Teo brings more than two decades of enterprise technology experience across sectors including financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing, and government-linked companies.

In a LinkedIn post, Teo said she joined SAP after more than a decade at Microsoft.

The company said Teo will help Malaysian businesses get value from cloud, data, and AI innovation as they digitise operations and improve resilience.

SAP lists a Kuala Lumpur office and recently highlighted Malaysian customer Baba Products for its cloud enterprise resource planning and Business AI work.
