Samsung SDS partners AI startups to expand cloud security

Samsung SDS said on June 10 it partnered with US-based AI security startup Xbow and South Korea-based Tatum Security.

The partnership will add AI-based vulnerability detection and multi-cloud security monitoring to its cloud security services.

Samsung SDS said it would use Xbow’s AI-driven penetration testing for clients’ web services and information assets.

Tatum would support integrated monitoring across public and private cloud platforms.

The move expands Samsung SDS’s managed cloud security business.

IDC recognized the company as a major player in Asia-Pacific cloud security services.

Tatum’s platform covers cloud posture management, workload protection, and cloud infrastructure entitlement management.

Samsung SDS’s plan to expand the partnership into cloud access and identity management services.
