Samsung SDS expands ChatGPT Enterprise client base in Korea

Samsung SDS said it has signed deals to supply ChatGPT Enterprise to Korea Zinc, iCraft, and TmaxSoft and now counts more than 10 clients across sectors including public, finance, manufacturing, retail, and services.

Samsung SDS is part of South Korea’s Samsung Group.

The firm became OpenAI’s first official reseller partner of ChatGPT Enterprise in Korea last December.

Samsung SDS said it introduced a One-Team framework to combine AI consulting, development, cloud, and security services for end-to-end AX support.

The company also offers a one-month free trial and three days of dedicated consulting to assess compatibility, security readiness, and use cases before full deployment.

Korea Zinc is a global leader in non-ferrous metal refining.

iCraft is an AI infrastructure provider.

TmaxSoft is a software firm that began integrating generative AI into its software development process in 2024.

Korea Zinc has adopted ChatGPT Enterprise to support an AI-powered smelting system, aiming to enhance data security and build internal process and technical data assets.

iCraft introduced the service to speed digital transformation and optimise engineering workflows, using Samsung SDS’ consulting to boost productivity and scale AI use cases.
