Samsung Electronics is speeding up development of a humanoid robot prototype and aims to unveil it at CES 2027 in Las Vegas next January, according to a report.

Samsung previously showcased Ballie at CES, its AI home companion robot, showing the company has used the trade show to present consumer robotics products.

Samsung also said it would become the largest shareholder in Rainbow Robotics to speed up robot development.

The report did not include product details, pricing, or a commercial launch timeline beyond the planned showcase.
