Samsung plans to invest US$1.8 billion to build an OLED factory producing automotive and tech apps out of Yen Phong Industrial Park in northern Vietnam’s Bac Ninh province.

An agreement with Bac Ninh authorities reveals that Samsung’s total investment in the province will increase from US$6.5 billion to US$8.3 billion.

Samsung’s investment in Vietnam reaches US$22.4 billion, including six manufacturing plants, one research and development center, and one sales entity.
