Samsung Electronics names mobile chief as co-CEO
Samsung Electronics has appointed mobile chief TM Roh as co-CEO and head of its device experience division, which covers smartphones, TVs, and home appliances.
The South Korean company is returning to its traditional co-CEO structure, splitting oversight between its chip and consumer divisions after operating under a sole-CEO setup after the death of co-CEO Han Jong-Hee in March.
Roh had been acting head of the consumer business since April.
