Altman expressed concerns about the potential misuse of AI, particularly regarding cyberattacks on financial systems or identity theft through advanced voice cloning technologies.

During his time in Washington, Altman also revealed plans to establish OpenAI’s first office in the capital next year. This move is part of the company’s strategy to engage with policymakers more effectively.
