Salesforce revenue hits $11.1b in first quarter
Salesforce reported fiscal first-quarter 2027 revenue of US$11.1 billion in the quarter ended April 30, 2026, up 13% year on year.
Informatica contributed US$444 million in revenue and US$428 million in subscription and support revenue.
Subscription and support revenue rose 14% to US$10.6 billion. Salesforce posted a GAAP operating margin of 21.1%, diluted earnings per share of US$2.42, and operating cash flow of US$6.7 billion.
Salesforce completed its acquisition of Informatica on November 18, 2025.
The company said Informatica adds cloud data management tools for AI, including data integration, governance, quality, privacy, metadata management, and master data management, to support a data foundation for agentic AI.
Analyst firm BARC said the deal fills a gap in Salesforce’s data infrastructure stack as the company expands further into enterprise AI software.
Salesforce also said it returned US$27.5 billion to shareholders, including US$27.1 billion in share repurchases, and US$365 million in dividends.
It guided second-quarter revenue to US$11.27 billion to US$11.35 billion and raised the midpoint of its full-year forecast to US$45.9 billion to US$46.2 billion.
