Salesforce posts strong outlook, highlights AI push
Salesforce projected Q4 revenue of US$11.1 billion to US$11.2 billion, exceeding analyst forecasts of US$10.9 billion.
The forecast includes contributions from Informatica, a data software firm Salesforce acquired for US$8 billion last month.
Salesforce said its Agentforce AI tool has closed over 9,500 paid deals since launch, up from 6,000 last quarter, and its AI-focused division reported US$1.4 billion in annual recurring revenue as of October 31, 2025.
Shares rose 8% in after-hours trading, though the stock is down 29% for the year.
Salesforce reported Q3 revenue of US$10.3 billion, up 8.6% year-on-year, and profit excluding some items of US$3.25 per share, beating analyst estimates.
The company forecasts adjusted operating margin for the year at about 34%.
