Salesforce said in a press release on September 11 it introduced Enterprise AI Harness, which it described as a trusted execution foundation for enterprise AI, not a fully launched standalone product.

The system combines six capabilities, context, agency, action, governance, security, and models, through a shared architecture.

Salesforce also announced a new AI Control Plane to help companies discover, register, manage, and monitor Salesforce and third-party AI agents and capabilities from one place.

Salesforce said new capabilities and a unified interface are scheduled to roll out sequentially from early fiscal 2028.

Pricing, packaging, regional availability, and upgrade details will be announced closer to general availability.

The launch comes as rivals offer centralized AI oversight tools, including ServiceNow’s AI Control Tower, and as ServiceNow and Microsoft said they are unifying governance across their platforms.
