Salesforce acquires Israeli AI startup Loops for $30m

Salesforce is acquiring Loops, a Tel Aviv-based startup that develops AI-powered analytics software, in a deal estimated at US$30 million.

The companies have not disclosed the price. Salesforce plans to integrate Loops’ technology and team into Tableau, its data analytics platform, to make data analysis more autonomous.

Founded in 2020 by chief executive Tom Laufer and CTO Ido Adiv, Loops raised US$14 million in a 2022 seed round. Its software is designed to explain shifts in business metrics such as revenue and customer retention, and suggest what companies should do next.

The deal is expected to close in early November, during Salesforce’s fiscal 2027, subject to customary closing conditions.

The acquisition follows Salesforce’s purchases of Israeli companies Own in 2024 and Doti in 2025.
