Skild AI, an AI robotics firm with offices in Pittsburgh, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Bengaluru, has raised nearly US$1.4 billion in a funding round led by SoftBank Group, bringing its valuation above US$14 billion.

Investors include NVentures, Macquarie Capital, Jeff Bezos, Samsung, LG, Schneider Electric, Salesforce Ventures, and others.

Founded in 2023, Skild AI is developing a robotics foundation model called the Skild Brain, which can adapt to different robot bodies and environments without retraining.

The system is trained using internet videos and physics-based simulations for use in industries like manufacturing, warehouses, security, and logistics.

The startup reported US$30 million in revenue over a few months in 2025 and plans to use the funds to expand training and deployments.
