Robinhood signs OG.com deal for prediction markets
Robinhood has signed a multi-year deal with OG.com, an independent trading platform spun out of Singapore-based Crypto.com, to provide infrastructure and clearing for Robinhood’s prediction markets platform.
The rollout to eligible US customers will begin in phases from September 8, 2026.
Under the agreement, Robinhood will route retail event contract volume through OG.com’s Commodity Futures Trading Commission-regulated derivatives exchange and clearinghouse infrastructure.
Robinhood Derivatives, LLC will remain the registered futures commission merchant offering the products.
Robinhood will also take initial equity stakes in Crypto.com and OG.com.
Crypto.com has said OG.com is an infrastructure partner and exchange engine, and said the spin-off gave it a standalone valuation of US$5 billion.
The deal comes as the Commodity Futures Trading Commission regulates event contracts as derivatives and says some public offerings may need approval or may be barred as gaming or against the public interest.
A June 2026 proposed rule suggested the framework is still evolving.
For Robinhood, which already offers prediction markets, the deal expands capacity in a retail market where infrastructure and regulatory access are becoming more important.
