Rivian launches new hands-free driving feature
Rivian has released a new software update, expanding hands-free assisted driving from 135,000 miles to over 3.5 million miles of roads in the US and Canada for Gen 2 vehicles.
The update introduces Universal Hands-Free, which works on both highways and other roads with marked lane lines.
Drivers can now pick from three Autonomy Drive Styles—Mild, Medium, and Spicy—to adjust driver assistance behavior.
The Autonomy View on the driver display now zooms out to show more of the area behind the vehicle for better visibility during maneuvers.
Rivian’s Digital Key feature, compatible with iPhone, Apple Watch, Google Pixel, and Samsung devices, allows users to unlock and drive their vehicles via digital wallets.
