Ritesh Pai, an experienced executive in the digital payments sector, has been appointed as the CEO of international payments at Indian fintech firm PhonePe. He last served as the president of products and solutions at UK-based TerraPay.

Pai’s appointment is in line with the international expansion plans of PhonePe, which currently has 500 million registered users and 37 million merchants in India.
