Revolut forms Singapore advisory board

Revolut, a London-based fintech firm, said on August 25 it has formed a Singapore advisory board made up of former minister of state Teo Ser Luck, former GXS Bank Singapore founding CEO Charles Wong, and Yvonne Aw.

The board will advise Revolut’s Singapore leadership team on governance, regulatory engagement, strategy, and sustainable growth in Singapore and the region.

The company said the board will support the expansion of its products, hiring in Singapore, and broader innovation efforts based in Singapore.

CEO Raymond Ng said Singapore is central to Revolut’s Asia growth strategy. Ng’s public remit also covers Southeast Asia.

Teo previously served as Singapore’s minister of state for manpower and trade and industry.

Wong led the build and launch of GXS Bank Singapore.

Aw is an independent non-executive director and chair of the audit and risk committee at Sompo Insurance China.
