Razorpay, a payments platform based in India, has launched Apple Pay integration for Indian businesses making international sales.

The company said it is the first Indian payment aggregator to offer Apple Pay for cross-border transactions.

Razorpay said that Indian brands using its platform, including Mokobara and Akasa Air, can now accept Apple Pay from global customers.

The integration aims to address high cart abandonment rates, which industry studies show reached 87% in Asia Pacific in Q4 2024.

Razorpay reported processing over 5,000 payments with Apple Pay during a two-week beta, achieving a 95% success rate.
