Razer and the National University of Singapore’s School of Computing, or NUS Computing, said on August 5 they launched a joint AI research lab in Singapore to study AI for games and support product development.

The Razer-NUS Joint AI Research Lab will focus on Gaming Artificial Narrow Intelligence, a research area focused on AI models for interactive digital environments.

Its work will cover core model innovation, real-time content systems, and advanced personalization.

NUS Computing will lead research and talent development, while Razer will validate industry use cases and support product integration.

The move expands Razer’s broader AI strategy.

The gaming hardware and software company has said its Singapore AI Center of Excellence is the first of three planned global AI hubs across Singapore, Europe, and the US.

Razer has also highlighted AI products including Razer Game Co-AI and Razer QA Companion.
