PlayMade, a Singapore-based bubble tea chain, has partnered with QuikBot Technologies for a pilot program focused on autonomous delivery solutions.

The collaboration was announced on Mar. 15 and will involve the integration of QuikBot’s delivery platform at select PlayMade outlets.

PlayMade will introduce an automated bubble tea machine that can produce drinks in under eight seconds alongside QuikBot’s delivery robots.

This initiative will evaluate operational efficiency, delivery performance, and customer reactions to autonomous services.

Key evaluation areas include the coordination between the automated production system and delivery robots, improvements in transport packaging, as well as customer feedback on the robotic delivery experience.

The pilot is set to operate during off-peak hours while also targeting high-demand periods, such as business hours.

Initially, orders will be received through messaging platforms like WhatsApp, with plans for a dedicated PlayMade app for automated ordering by the third quarter of 2025.

Founded in 2017, PlayMade operates over 25 outlets in Singapore.
