Quick commerce startup Apna Mart raises $25m
Apna Mart, a quick commerce startup, is raising 214.3 crore rupees (US$25 million) in a funding round led by Fundamentum Partnership, co-founded by Nandan Nilekani.
Existing investors, including Peak XV Partners and Sparrow Capital, along with new investor Accel India, will also participate in this round, which will consist of both equity and debt financing.
Founded in 2022 by Abhishek Singh and Chetan Garg, Apna Mart specializes in delivering groceries and other essentials within 15 minutes in Tier II and III cities.
The company operates through a franchise outlet model, setting it apart from competitors such as Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, and Zepto, which use dark stores.
