Qualtrics will acquire healthcare survey software firm Press Ganey Forsta for US$6.8 billion.

The Utah-based company will pay with a mix of cash and equity, expecting the deal to close in the coming months.

The acquisition will expand Qualtrics’ presence in healthcare, as Press Ganey Forsta serves over 2,500 clients in over 100 countries.

Press Ganey Forsta is currently owned by private equity firms Ares Management and Leonard Green & Partners.

The deal follows a trend of private equity investments in enterprise software, especially in AI and data-driven tools.
