Qualcomm, Tata plan India’s first automotive chip facility
Qualcomm Technologies and Tata Electronics have announced a partnership to manufacture Qualcomm automotive modules in India at Tata’s new OSAT facility in Jagiroad, Assam.
The collaboration aims to support local production of automotive digital cockpits, infotainment, connectivity, and vehicle systems.
Tata Electronics will join Qualcomm’s global network of module manufacturing partners to meet increasing demand from Indian and international automakers.
