A protest group named “Sora PR Puppets” claims to have leaked access to OpenAI’s Sora video-generation tool.
Reports indicate the group used authentication tokens to create a frontend for generating 10-second high-definition videos with Sora.
The group attributed their actions to grievances with OpenAI’s early access program for Sora.
In a statement, they alleged that OpenAI exploited artists for unpaid labor, including bug testing and feedback, while limiting how participants could share their work.
