London-based Pi Labs has launched in Hong Kong, with its local operations led by seasoned tech and real estate professional Akina Ho.

The growing demand for proptech investment expertise in Asia and the region’s increasingly global investor network prompted this expansion, Pi Labs said in a statement.

The proptech-focused VC firm, which was founded in 2015, has backed over 80 startups with a total gross value of around US$11 billion.
