PropertyGuru appoints managing director to boost SG marketplace
PropertyGuru Group has named Lu Yao as managing director of its Singapore marketplace business, effective September 15.
The company, based in Singapore, operates one of Southeast Asia’s largest property technology platforms.
Lu Yao will manage the company’s Singapore operations and join its executive leadership team, reporting to CEO Lewis Ng.
Before joining PropertyGuru, Lu Yao held leadership roles at Daraz Group under Alibaba International Digital Commerce, where he led commercial strategy in South Asia, and previously managed Shopee Singapore’s FMCG cluster and mall.
He also has experience as a consultant at McKinsey & Company in China and as a researcher at Dow Chemicals in the US.
