US police drone startup Brinc Drones raises $75m
Seattle-based drone startup Brinc Drones has raised US$75 million in its latest funding round, led by Index Ventures.
This funding increases the company’s total financing to US$157.2 million since its founding in 2017.
Brinc provides drone systems for public safety and police agencies.
The company plans to integrate its drones with Motorola Solutions’ 911 call center software.
This integration will allow operators to deploy drones for emergency calls, pending clearance from Motorola’s AI systems. Motorola Solutions also participated in the funding round.
