Pinterest commits $4b to AWS AI expansion
Pinterest said it plans to commit US$4 billion to Amazon Web Services (AWS) through 2031.
The investment is the company’s largest infrastructure commitment to date and will support AI-related workloads and visual search.
The companies have worked together since 2010. Pinterest said the deal will expand its use of AWS computing infrastructure for AI workloads.
Pinterest last reported 570 million monthly active users in the first quarter of 2025, up 10% year on year.
In its latest quarter, Pinterest reported US$855 million in revenue and a US$35.5 million operating loss as expenses rose.
