Pine Labs reports 81% rise in quarterly profit
Pine Labs, a Noida-based digital payments processor, reported 5.2 billion rupees (US$53.9 million) in operating revenue for the quarter ended March 2026, up 24% from 4.2 billion rupees (US$43.5 million) a year earlier.
Net profit rose 81% to 670 million rupees (US$7.01 million) from 370 million rupees (US$3.87 million).
For FY26, Pine Labs reported 19.3 billion rupees (US$202 million) in operating revenue and 1.5 billion rupees (US$15.6 million) in net profit, compared with 80 million rupees (US$838,000) in FY25.
Quarterly expenses increased to 4.9 billion rupees (US$51.3 million) from about 4.3 billion rupees (US$45 million) a year earlier.
Employee costs fell to 1.7 billion rupees (US$17.9 million) from 1.9 billion rupees (US$19.7 million) in the previous quarter and 2.7 billion rupees (US$28 million) in the September quarter.
Pine Labs said it raised 20.8 billion rupees (US$218 million) in its November 2025 initial public offering and had used about 8 billion rupees (US$83.4 million) by the end of FY26, largely to repay borrowings.
Pine Labs shares closed at 146 rupees (US$1.5) on May 25, up 2.35% on the day on the BSE.
