Philippines-based urban mobility firm boosted by $250m deal

Patrizia, in partnership with Mitsui & Co., plans to invest up to US$250 million in Parkwise, an urban mobility solutions company in the Philippines.

The investment, from the APAC Sustainable Infrastructure Fund (A-SIF), will support the development of sustainable parking facilities in major cities.

Parkwise aims to improve infrastructure by adding EV charging stations and rooftop solar systems at hospitals, universities, and airports.

This marks A-SIF’s second major investment in the Philippines, following a 2024 solar energy project.

Parkwise is expanding its operations with advanced projects focused on off-street parking solutions.

With traffic congestion and a parking shortage, especially in Manila, the initiative aims to ease urban mobility challenges.

Patrizia sees infrastructure and real estate investments as key growth areas, aligning with its broader asset management strategy.
