PH legal search platform launches free AI tool

Kartilyah.ph, a legal search platform built in the Philippines, has launched a free website that lets users search statutes, codes, and Supreme Court decisions from the Philippines in plain language.

The launch comes as Congress weighs proposals for a free, AI-searchable national database of laws and jurisprudence.

Built by Bataan-born lawyer and technologist Karlo Dizon, the site gives direct answers and says each response is checked against the text of the cited law or court decision before it is shown.

The launch adds to a legal research market that already includes free resources such as the Supreme Court E-Library and LawPhil. Paid services include Chan Robles Virtual Law Library and CD Asia Online.
