AI search engine Perplexity has integrated Tripadvisor data to enhance its hotel search feature, allowing users to view organized lists of hotels, complete with ratings, images, and summaries based on Tripadvisor information.

Perplexity co-founder Johnny Ho stated that the integration syncs regularly with Tripadvisor to provide reliable results that align with user queries, improving on basic details, such as addresses and user ratings.

The updated feature seeks to improve user experience by providing more comprehensive data.

Perplexity plans to add recommendations for restaurants and activities in the future.

The feature is currently available on the web and will soon be accessible on Perplexity’s mobile app.
