Equilibrium, a climate tech startup based in Bengaluru, has raised US$3 million in its first funding round from Kalaari Capital, Avaana Capital, and Peak XV Partners.

Founded in 2024, the company provides carbon removal solutions through projects such as agroforestry, regenerative farming, mangrove planting, and biochar, reaching over 60,000 farmers and coastal communities.

Equilibrium said the funds will be used to develop its technology platform, support ongoing projects, and expand operations.

The firm operates in nine Indian states, including Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka, and is considering expansion into South Asia.
